| Seattle.internet.com has learned that Bellevue-based HouseValues.com has closed on $2 million in a series B financing.
This financing follows HouseValues.com's $2 million series A financing which closed in
April 2000.
In March 2000, HouseValues.com was recognized as one of the top presenting companies
at the Early Stage Investment Forum in Seattle. Since then HouseValues.com has continued
to expand their web based real estate agent marketing services to 11 of the nation's largest
metropolitan markets.
According to HouseValues.com Founder & CEO Mark Powell, the recent financing will allow his company to expand into new markets, including New York, San Francisco and Philadelphia in the first quarter of 2001.

Avenue Partners and the Chairman of publicly traded Avenue A has joined HouseValues.com's Board of Directors.
Other notable investors include Poseidon Ventures and Vault Capital.
