solutions company US Interactive said they are teaming
up to design and build a digital commerce system that facilitates secure
transactions for digital entertainment and media content.
The companies said they expect to begin offering financial clearinghouse
functionality later this year.
"One of the major issues media and entertainment industries face today is
managing and safely distributing valuable intellectual property rights in
this ever changing environment of multiple distribution systems, both
off-line and online." said Howard Weitzman, chief executive officer of
Massive Media.
