The latest buyer is Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.-based Technologent. The deal finalized this week includes AVCOM Technologies' Intellectual customer database and other undisclosed assets. Financial details of the transaction were not revealed.
Formerly headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, AVCOM Technologies offered products and services to Fortune 1000 customers nationwide for over 10 years. The company was named one of Silicon Valley's fastest growing companies every year since 1992. Sadly, the firm became one of the last victims of the tech downturn and closed its doors back in February of this year.
Technologent is a multi-vendor solutions provider that offers hardware, software, and storage products The company is also a Sun Strategic iForce Partner, which allow its to offer cross-platform IT consulting, network computing, and IT outsourcing services.

Technologent founder and CEO Tom Gallaway said the acquisition now expands his company's sales coverage capabilities.
