OK, first and foremost, start up in safe mode, preferebly with networking so you can access the net if need be.
On start up, repeatdly tap the PF8 key, and you'll get the list, choose the one i mentioned.
It should hopefully take you to your desktop. Then use your Recovery disk supplied with the PC to do a repair installation of the drive. Not a reformat as this will wipe your hard drive. **Read before posting on the Tech Support Forums-Troubleshooting Tips**:: Subject: I crash or freeze and get a Blue Screen (BSoD) or the computer restarts on the Advanced tab, and then on the Settings button in the Startup and http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/posts/list.m?start=0&topic_id=254140HOME | YouTube - Mac vs PC Crash:: thing, the way the display them may be different.Pin Wheel of Death vs Blue Screen of Death Apple Startup Sounds and Death S Apple Startup Sounds and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gLG2Po24eIHOME |

May not fix the problem, but hopefully should.
Hope this helps.
Try to hit F8 when the computers starts, and before the Blue screen. that will start your PC in safe mode, from there you can select the repair option

If i were you i would enter BIOS by holding down delete,F1 or F2 depending on your system on bootup (this might take a few tries)
There is a bios setting that freezes the blue screen when you boot your computer so you can see what it says. It will usually indicate where the problem lies. http://www.pcstats.com/articleimages/200...
As you can see in the picture it says driver_IRQL_not_less_or_equal yours might show something different
It can be anything from bad drivers to hardware failure. In most cases it's just a driver issue or wrong BIOS settings.
You can reset the BIOS to default settings to see if that fixes your problem. If somebody has been messing with ram timings or other things, that could also cause it. Resetting everything to default would fix it
Try and see if all your hardware like ram and graphic card is tightly fastened in its sockets.
Also remove any USB devices before booting to see if they are the cause
need to make sure you boot order has the CD-ROM listed first. That is done in the BIOS.
Boot to the WIN XP cd.
Load the Recovery Console.
At the prompt type:
CHKDSK /F
Let it run, it will repair the corrupt files and registry entries.
Be advised it will take some time if the disk is large.
It's also perfectly normal to see the progress meter go up to 75-80% complete only to have it jump back to 40-50% complete.
HTH and good luck =]
