I had braces on for 12 months then was given a retainer which i wore for a few months until he said i only had to wear it at night. Then i started to forget to wear it more and more frequently and its been a whole year now since i last wore it. I looks to me like ive got a slite overbite now since i stopped. Should i start wearing it again to fix it? Free for All: Retainers..::

Honestly, I don't think it will fit you anymore.
However, unless the slight overbite is bothering you, don't worry about it too much, nobody has perfect teeth.
If you want to fix the slight overbite it might be advisable to go back to your orthodontist so they can either give you a new brace or make the retainer fit you again.
Whatever happens, if you can, try to slowly reintroduce your retainer and then remember once it's back and it fits properly.

I would try the retainer on and if it fits, wear it. If you notice it doesn't fit correctly, then go back and get a new one made from your orthodontist. You can also give the ortho a call and ask them what they want you to do.
