Has anyone booked hotel + car package from expedia.com before? I am going to Orlando and got a car rental + hotel deal quote on its website but it states "Car taxes and fees not included". When I conatacted customer service, they said the grand total I received online doesn't inlucde any expense for car rental but hotel. I have never booked both at the same time before. A lot of times package "deals" like that aren't any cheaper than booking them serperately. And advantage to doing them seperately is that you know how much each one is costing you... in advance.
You don't mention where you are going, but in the rare event it is Disney World and you are staying at a resort on property you can take advantage of Disney's free shuttle service from airport to hotel. Then, once you are on property you can use Disney's free transportation to get around.
