I have a pentax me that's giving me some problems. Sometimes when I advance the film the shutter opens at the same time. Basicly it takes a picture as I move the advance lever. ANyone else have a clue? :(
Get thee to a repair shop. :D Something's not right. Could probably use a good cleaning, anyway. They're great little cameras, worth a few bucks to keep in good repair.

to do with the slow arrival of the new Pentax K series of Pentax did a great job this year with their K10d which is the best I think in the class.

I have just noticed that when I take the lens off the shutter seems to work properly. I should note tha I bought the lens and camera from different sources. As far as I can tell it is a pentax K mount lens. It is smc pentax brand anyway.
