  • Hey all, been a while since I've posted. I'm a busy man. Here's what I need:
Grafix artist: Just need you to do a couple of animations for the background of my fighting scene.

AI guy: I need you to do the programming for a fighting character. Someone to verse (who's a bit challenging) and will put up a fight.

If you would like to see the game click on the link on my signiture. I haven't had a chance to update my site yet but I've done a bit more to the game and it now scrolls. Other things I need to do are a combo counter, super jump and character selection. There's alot of aother stuff but I wont list. Thanks in advance.

  • Omg!!! Your Zelda game is awesome! How did you make it? I've been trying to make a zelda game for ages now but... well.. it sucks. I couldn't figure out how to do it properly. Did you use arrays, like outside of society or something like that. Because that didn't work for me because I cant do complicated stuff like that:huh: Anyways, I was wondering if you could post an example of your game because I would really love that :P
If you can't well... Your doing great work making those games!!!

  • I've seen that Zelda game before, my brother's friend was playing around with it some time ago. I think it's open source.

Are you claiming you built this by yourself ?

  • I'll be gone for a week starting friday. You'll have to wait until I get back before I can show you anything. Good luck anyway.

In the mean time I'll sure you'll find someone useful here...

  • Who? What? Where? When? Why? :puzzle:

    I'm confused now.

  • Brilliant work there. For a moment I forgot it was a flash game. I'd love to help you. I'll see what I can do aqbout the animations you want implementing. You'll need to explain exactly what you need animating though.

Can't help you on the AI front though.

  • I think he was talking about the fighting game, but even that is called "figter_open_source.html" (http://www.geocities.com/skinny_man21/fighter_open_source.html)

    What gives?

  • If it wasn't for the fact for those two guys finding out you were using preset code (open source).. I would have helped you out with the AI man...

But if you did just take the open source copies.. Then adding an AI is all you really need to do.. And then... You really didn't do jack squat.. So..

  • Firstly the zelda game is an open source, it can be found on some flash sites and flashkit. Firstly I never said I created it I just downloaded the engine to have a look at the code (which has alot of bugs in it) and if I ever do finish it (which I doubt) I will give credit to "ZGOTeddy" for the engine. So please dont accuse me.

The fighting game is also an open source (thanks marmotte). But I've done so much to that and intend to do alot more (like changing the file name). When I got this open source it was only a basic fighting game, you couldnt do much and I added quite alot of aspects to it.

junahu: I'd love to see what other animations you've done first. I just need a few background animations and a death animation.

And about using open sources. You gotta start somewhere.

    *EDIT*
One last note. Anyone who wants to take over the Zelda project is welcome. I stopped just after you destroy the first boss and move into a desert stage. The next boss was going to be a dragon. I uploaded him and started with his attacks. Just post If you want the .fla
