Hi, Iam interested in exploring the idea of opening a Indian Grocery retail store in US (Bay Area). I'd appreciate if anyone can help me get started on this. Some of the initial questions that would get me started are: Where do I find the wholesale distributors for Indian groceries? Can I just buy from 1 distributor or do I need multiple distributors? Approximately what is the initial investment needed? In general what are the profit margins? any other useful information. As you can see, my goal is to come up with a detailed business plan, so any information (statistics, distributor comparisions, web links, news etc.) you can provide towards that will be great.
