The company said this updated version, with added support for Apple and NetWare, is ready for integration into AMI's StorTrends and ServTrends storage solutions. New features in version 1.1 include: Apple support (AFP and AppleTalk) to enable the connection of Apple machines to the NAS server; NetWare support (NCP and IPX) to enables the connection of NetWare machines to the NAS server; HTTP to allow file transport to directory/files (read only) for use of a web browser; and FTP based file transport support to allow NAS use for accessing files (read and write) from FTP clients. Other features include secured administration access (using SSL), a NAS Management Station, NDMP incremental backup enhanced features, and a new GUI.
