I am travelling on my own at the end and may be in Goa for about a week. Will it be likely that i will meet other people in Goa in April?
When you say "other people" it sounds like you mean "foreign tourists". There will be lots of people, locals and foreigners, in Goa in April. It'll be hot, but good for the beach. The monsoons won't have started yet.

Goans and Indians are people too, and I'd strongly suggest traveling in such a way that meeting them is at least as important, if not more important, than meeting foreign tourists. Goa is one of the least hassle-filled places in India (Kerala is another), and for that reason a good place to make Indian friends.
