I have a few questions around travelling with a toddler (27 months):
1) What do you look for in accommodation?
2) What do you look for in a destination?
3) How do you entertain a toddler on a plane trip?
4) How do you urge a screaming independent toddler to put on their seat belt when the sign's come on (on a plane)?
I think that will do for now. Thanks :-)
snacks, different toys to play with, using the peanuts, drinks, etc on the plane to entertain. make as much as you can out of the peanut wrapper. take a backpack with favorite toys. take another adult to assist you so you can focus 100% on entertaining the kid. don't expect to get any reading or anything you want done. focus 100% of attention on teh toddler. it's a full time job. Berkeley Parents Network: Discipline for Toddlers:: May 28, 2008 It is REALLY hard to travel with toddlers. Can you cut back on the travelling? I agree that you can't put a toddler on time out in a train. http://parents.berkeley.edu/advice/toddler/discipline.htmlHOME |
