&
Write the standard form of a line perpundicular to
(-x+2y=6)& passes through (0,4)
please expain your answers because I have several problems like this & I want to use thease as guides
set both of them equal to y and then switch x and y in one of them and if you get the other when you solve for y then they are inverses. as for the second problem, i'll do it,
slope of -x + 2y = 6 is m = -(-1)/2 = 1/2
y - 4 = (1/2)(x - 0)
y = (1/2)x + 4
