Tsubasa Chronicles - Well, she's actually one of the main characters. Her name's Sakura and she loses her memories and Syaron (her childhood friend) , Fai, Kurogane and Mokona go on a search for finding her memories which appear as feathers. If they don't find her memories I think she was gonna die or something (not very sure about this). Anyway this anime is a MUST WATCH!! So try this anime it's really nice. It also has another princess as well called Tomoyo but she's not much of a main character.
