Ok, I have asked this question before, but I wanted to clarify things. I like the Jonas Brothers, not for their looks. I really like their music. They have evolved alot with their new album, and grown musically. I mean, people are allowed to have their opinions, and this is your opportunity. I like substantial music like The Beatles, and I'm a Led head too. *I like Led Zeppelin* and I think that people just have hate for the Jonas' Because of popularity, and annoying screaming obsessive girls. nonono,you're wrong. People don't just dislike JB for their popularity or their annoying fans. Take me for example,I never listen to the JB because to start out in the first place I never liked their music at all,that's why. It's just not the type that I like,and I think their music is horrible,with all the squeaky and constipated vocals. That's my opinion only of course,don't take it to serious heart.
However,this section started to become flooded with those excessive Jonas questions by those obsessed scary fans which made me dislike them EVEN more. So if the fans were a lot more sensible,they would have lot less haters. But I still will not listen to their music,but don't call me jealous or a hater because I'm not!

Consider the Hanson bros, just like the Jonas Brothers, they are just fad that's going to fade away, they are no different from boy bands either. Once the teen fanbase grows up, they'll be scraping by trying to reinvent themselves as an adult group.

I LOVE JB TOO! and i actually have a family memeber who is friends with them so i kno them more than just "popularity" and i can say that they are pretty amazing people and if haters wanna hate them well that's there lost not ours... so let it be and there will be no problem! i love them cause of there true selves because i have talked to them before and me n my cuzins have talked to them and we know how sweet they can be. they are just NORMAL boys who have god's support and became famous because of all there hard work!

I knew who the jonas brothers were before they were on disney channel and they were so much better. Theyre lyrics actually had some meaning to them instead of that washed up junk they play now.
You should listen to some of their old stuff, like one of my favorite songs called 'Hello Beautiful'

I love the Jonas Brothers and a huge fan because of their music. Love their songs and the meanings of them. I know this is not the answer to your question but I REALLY agree with you about some of the fans that scream and are abscessed over them. You are right there are "girls who admire them from a far". Just wanted to let you know :)
They are talentless people who've been handed fame for no discernible reason. Their voices leave much to be desired and they certainly aren't "musicians".
I don't like them for a few simple reasons:
1. I am a metal-head. In my opinion, the Jonas Brothers have nothing on symphonic metal bands like Epica, After Forever, Within Temptation, and others. I am not avoiding listening to the Jonas Brothers because they aren't metal, because I listen to a good deal of other music besides metal, but I do avoid listening to them because I dislike their music. I just. Don't. Like it.
2. The way that half the girls I know want to marry all three of the Jonas Brothers (or four or however many there are of them) is a little bit scary. This is not just the case with the Jonas Brothers. For example, I used to like Harry Potter... before people became obsessed with it. There came a point where the hoards of obsessive fans were the only thing that came to mind when anyone mentioned anything related to the series.
3. My little preteen sister worships them. That would even turn me off to some musicians that I would normally have approved of.
4. Pop culture is overrated. You seem to know this already, however. Good for you for not being an obsessive fangirl.
simple. i dont like their music, voices, personalities, looks etc.
The music they play isnt very good. Its all the same stuff and really isnt very talented which is what the fans think it is(the ones i know). There lyrics aren't much and it doesnt sound good.
I am neutral with them Seriously, what I cannot stand are the rude, obnoxious, obsessive, Lemming fangirls that feel the need to ask the same exact questions thousands of times a day
Um...do I need a reason to not like them? I don't hate them I just have no desire to listen to their music.
