There are some exploits to crash the server flooding specifics packets, so my question is: Is there any way to close the connection when somebody send too many packets in a short interval (just packets configurated by me) ? I have this packets in HEX and in ASCII.
I think it should be a hard configuration... please help me ;)
Thank`s alot.

Outpost's Attack Detection plugin can detect and block such attempts but it is designed for use on a PC rather than a server (it blocks unsolicited connections by default which a server has to accept) - as such you would need to change its configuration. Disabling the "Port Scanning" option in Attack Detection Properties/Advanced/Edit List would be the most important step but you may need to clear other options also.
Hi,
Default configuration for pc in Attack detection is ok to my server... I have to create my own "Attack Detection" rule... A rule to block a packet specified by me. Is there a way to create attack detection rule with the hex or ascii packet i want to block?
