2m = s + 6
Part Three: Obviously, there are two variables. To find s, you can use the equation for s in part one and substitute it into the equation for part two.
2m = (m + 6) +6
Part Four: Solve for m using algebraic methods.
m = 12
Part Five: Now you can find s by plugging in 12 for m in either one of the equations from Part One or Part Two.
s = 12 + 6 or
2(12) = s + 6
