I am trying to place an iframe within an accordian's panel. The goal is to have the user interact with the iframe (enter text, click links), close the panel and return to their work. What I notice is that whenever the panel is closed and opened, the iframe loses its document when using firefox 2 & 3 (no issue on IE6/7). I've explored most of the parameters, most notably changing the hideMode between [display, offsets, visibility].
In the example below, I have 3 panels the first and third have basic textual content, the middle panel is pointed to div containing an iframe with a blank source. When the panel is opened for the first time, I dynamically change that location (to google in this example) with an expand event. The user is free to navigate google in their panel, but closing that panel and reopening it results in the panel showing the google homepage again. Whatever page they were on is lost. I can confirm that the iframe source is not being reset to the homepage based on my alert. Anything I am missing here, suggestions?
