I have a 1998 Sonoma (Automatic). Recently the "Sevice Engine Soon" light will come on, and then like an hour or two later it'll turn off. Why is that happening?
Also, today I noticed when I put it in R to back out of my garage it kinda made this rocking motion (like on a motorcycle, when it shifts gears you kinda..slightly jolt back and forth)..then it smoothed out, then it did the same thing when I put it in drive to drive out of my driveway...then when I got on the road and started speeding up to the 55mph limit it seemed to be like on a motorcycle and jolted quite a bit when it was shifting gears....Is my transmission going bad?
I took it to autozone btw...its something to do with a hose. The guy said that it wouldnt hurt anything, but seeing how im trying to sell it i should prolly get it fixed (Duh..lol) :D

Could be ignition miss fire.
could be a bad shift solenoid.
