big strike to beat QPR....we have a chance to get into the playoff zone...we still need a good striker though.
cheers
McIndoe and Kightly played well today by the sounds of things (I didn't go). We just need someone to get on the end of their crosses.

I can't see why Man U would want to sign a player who was released by Southend - maybe AF is looking to replace the aging Christiano Ronaldo. Goal.com - Main - Kightly Ends The Speculation:: Michael Kightly has ended all the speculation about his immediate future by signing a new long-term contract with Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers deal. http://www.goal.com/en/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=749321HOME | icWolverhampton - Kightly buzzing after victory:: MICHAEL Kightly admitted he was buzzing after his twogoal blast led the way in Kightly played his full part, giving former Walsall left-back Julian Bennett http://icwolverhampton.icnetwork.co.uk/sport/localsport/woteid=94950-name_page.htmlHOME |
He's a proven goalscorer at Conference level, but has played four games for Wolves (at the time of writing). I admit that he's made a good start (as has our other loan signing, McIndoe) and has scored twice, but four games is not much to judge him on, and he's not even guaranteed a place in the starting line up - Wolves youngster Lewis Gobern has had an impressive debut season and also plays wide right. To be honest, I haven't yet seen Kightly play - the birth of my first child has prevented me from getting down to the Molineux since late November, but I get reports from the other season ticket holders in my family, and he sounds like an exciing prospect.
Anyway, I'll leave you with this thought - Kightly has scored twice in four games for a distinctly average Wolves team which lost 9 players from last season. Robbie Keane scored twice on his Wolves (and professional) debut and was a truely outstanding player in a team that included the almighty Steve Bull. But, according to Alex Ferguson, Keane was only good enough for United's reserves - why would he want Kightly? Don't believe everything you read in the Sun.
Doing well today but has just received his fifth yallow card so he'll serve a suspenwion after boxing day.
