maybe it's not a bug but it's not something i like, therefore i post this topic.
after a reboot of xbmc, the lcd shows the 'navigation view' on the lcd screen, ie: switching from CRT to LCD get message "signal over range :: 5 posts - Last post: Mar 18, 2007The LCD will show the boot up text but when it goes to graphic mode it I suspect this is some kind of a bug in the 2.6.18 kernel. http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-hardware-18/switching-from-crt-to-lcd-get-message-signal-over-range-531884/HOME |
home
games
(first two rows of the lcd)
and it's correct because after a bootup, my cursor is indeed on games at the home screen.
but, thats basicly the view when you are navigation through the menu.
after a few seconds the lcd reverts to the normal view.
is it possible to force the lcd to go immidiatly in 'normal view' after a (re)boot of xbmc ? LCD Display Driver Problem in Platform Builder:: 7 posts - 4 authors - Last post: Aug 20My LCD is working fine at boot time but as soon as display driver loads . i have faced same problem in boot up,but it got resolved by http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.windowsce.platbuilder&tid=827fdd6e-3262-4d80-be8c-56dfbb10daec&cat=en_US_a5828038-e64c-40cb-9706-6a58b4061a14&lang=en&cr=US&sloc=&p=1HOME | Monitor sleeps on bootup - InsanelyMac Forum:: 4 posts - 3 authors - Last post: Mar 8, 2007Type: Display Bus: PCI VRAM (Total): 128 MB off.. i've tried with 2 different LCD monitors and 1 CRT and they all do the same thing. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?act=findpost&pid=315895HOME |
second question:
is it possible to speed up the refresh rate of the lcd ?
third:
is it possible to edit the cpu temp string value, ie: 59.60 to 59 ?
my lcd is showing cpu: 59.60°c but i'd like to display this like: cpu: 59°c in order to free some space on the lcd. T&L Publications :: View topic - Monitor OUT OF RANGE:: 4 posts - 4 authors - Last post: Jan 14I have a Viewsonic VA720 LCD Monitor and an Apple PowerMac G4 computer. of the other monitor is when I boot up with the second monitor, http://forum.servomagazine.com/viewtopic.php?t=7865HOME |
thumbs up for the great work on the lcd features in xbmc, these are only some questions to make it even better ;).
even i have a fourth question:
when you set the fan speed to automatic, so it adjusts his speed according to the cpu temp, the fan goes to 0 or 1% when the temperature is beneath the value that's set.
for example:
the temp of the cpu has to be lower than 55°c
right now, the temp is 51°c, and the fan speed is set to 2%.
after that, the temperature of the cpu goes very fast up, to 60°, and the fan has to work it again to a lower level than 55°.
i think it's better that there's an option to set the minimum speed of the fan to a level like 30%, so there's constant an air flow, so the temperature won't run op so fast, like it does right now..
i hope you understand me, i don't speak english very well (i'm dutch).
