I have to be attracted to a man physically to be attracted to him. You know, how girls are supposed to have a guy "grow on her?" Doesn't happen to me. I don't like or love guys for my attraction alone, but to fall for them, I have to be attracted.

I like girls for their personality, but I really don't seem to be attracted to them. I get a good feeling of being emotionally close to girls at times and it makes me find qualities in them I didn't see originally. But I find it difficult to imagine being sexual or even romantic with them. I don't find it wrong, it just doesn't do it for me. I prefer the body of a man.
The guys I am attracted to never want me as a girlfriend, because I'm never as good looking as they are. I tend to "crush" on girls outside of physical attraction, so it would be more likely to work if I could only find myself wanting to be physical with them.
Any advice? I am tired of being alone.
