3. go to system/master lock and disable master code
4. restart
i get the master code is not valid error! please enter a valid code dialog. no dialog to enter the code pops up.
i have to delete the settings and restart for it to go away.
fixed in cvs.

(i've had the same error too)
instead of deleting all the settings you can edit the
/userdata/guisettings.xml
<masterlock>
...
...
<startuplock>true</startuplock>
</masterlock>
the "true" to "false"
(i'm not sure what the correct way of phrasing this is..)
