But if I try and return hidden is comes back as undefined?
Is this a bug?
I had a quick look through the debug code but to me hidden should be set to true.
Can someone test this on rc1 or tell me what silly thing I`m doing wrong?

There is no public property of TreeNode called hidden. It's used internally by the object and isn't set true/false unless something explicitly calls show or hide. Qt 4.3: Q3MainWindow Class Reference::
The menu items representing the toolbars and dock windows are checkable. The visible dock windows are checked and the hidden dock windows are unchecked.
