Message Count Bug?
Published by: wktd 2009-01-07

  • I noticed that when you delete all the messages that have been posted the count remains on the main page to the forum. It returns the count to zero in the Threads in total and Posts in total lines but it leaves the count in the Posts and Threads rows. Shouldn't these also return to zero?

  • This is after a prune. I then update the counters and it still shows the number of threads and the number of posts in the index.php page. The counter resets to zero but the numbers that show up under the Posts and Threads rows still show the numbers.

  • Is your browser cacheing the index.php file?

Make sure that you update FORUM counters.

  • Is this through pruning or by deleting threads by hand?

If you prune, you should then update the forum counters from the control panel.
