He's 18 and i'm 19 but he told me the other day that he mite want to take a break. we've been dating for 8 months and he has told me before that he feels trapped. he wants us to keep dating but also have the chance to go out on a date with someone else. he has told me he feels that we will get back together if me take a break but he wants to see if the grass is really greener on the other side. he still tells me he loves me and wants to be with me he just needs some room.

umm. lets see how about you give him some space. dont text or call as much. and when you start drifting away from him a little then he will/may realize that he needs you. i dont know what to say. make him like you more some how. go out on a spicial date. or do something random. or give him space
how about asking him why he feels that way. and ask him if everything is ok in his life. maybe he is not telling you everything?
