My cat is meowing a lot. What can I do?

My cat is meowing a lot since 3 weeks ago. Normally she would meow and try to get attention when she was in heat but she was already spayed last Oct. 22! Three days after spaying she had swollen mammary glands and started to meow. I took her to the Vet twice since then. He said we need to give her some time until hormones levels get back to normal if not then they will have to make a test and see if she can get a hormones prescription or deep study.

Is this a right diagnosis? Should I wait and see what's happening like the Vet said? Thanks for your comments.

well do you feed it often.If so it may be scared or just wants to be played with.

Unfortunately our pets can't tell us what is wrong, but we can tell by their behavior that something is wrong. Your cat is letting you know something's not right. If you've taken her to your vet twice and he hasn't figured out what the problem is, I would at least call another vet and describe the behavior and see if you can get another opinion. Having worked at the humane society, I have seen many cats after getting spayed, and for the most part they took it easy for a few days and then were back to their normal selves. It is possible for vets to make mistakes, so if you go to another vet, have them check the suture area and make sure its healed properly.
