MySQL 4.0.17 on Windows 2000 sp4 1.5GB RAM Server Configuration Not sure if it is mySQL server that is causing the issue or what not but from time to time I get the mySQL

Not sure if it is mySQL server that is causing the issue or what not... but from time to time I get the mySQL service to go to 100% and stay there for a minute or so after which it goes down to normal cpu 3-5%...
Config:
AMD 1.4
1.5GB Ram
Raid 1 200GB hd
Win 2k, sp4 and all windows updates
MySQL 4.0.17
PHP Version 4.3.10
Server API CGI/FastCGI
I am also running Coppermine and PHPAds New...
Total DB size is under 100MB
Any suggestions?

I would upgrade php to 4.3.11 and switch from cgi to isapi. I would also upgrade mysql to the latest 4.0 version. There are Windows specific fixes in the newest versions.
Post the contents of your my.ini file and we'll tweak you up.
Any suggestions? is anyone else using mySQL 4.0.17 on W2K?
