Ok, the upgrade is done and the databases are restored without any problems. Everything is running great. I am running MySQL v 4.1.9. That was the only version available for me. I will post the server config soon.

tommyxv, head on over to server config forum http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=14 and start a new thread and provide info asked at http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=70117 :)
ok thanks.
You should upgrade to MySQL 4.0.24 and then post a server config in the server configuration forum so we can optmize both your web and mysql server settings.
I tried, but couldn't get that version from the host. It seems to be working great rigth now. (knock on wood)
Thanks,
Tommy
Ok, my forum is not that big yet, 460 members, 400 threads, 2300 posts. Is it ok to use the database backup that is in the admin control panel and import that to the new MySQL database? Also, is there anything i should before I go from mysql v3.x to v4.x ?? Will i have errors/corruption importing a v3 database to mysql v4??
Thanks,
Tommy
