my 18 month old has been up most of the week with a bad cough brought on by allot of mucus. any remedies out there? I have been to the doctor and its not viral he just has to get over it.

turn the shower on as hot as it goes and stuff a towel up against the bottom of the bathroom door. sit in there with your son. play if you need to. the steam helps break up the congestion. and vicks baby rub helps too.
you cant really give them anything, Saline drops and squirt them in his nose if he lets you... the suction bulb also helps after you use the saline
