| Apple TV Take 2 is now LIVE! [Archive] - Page 2 - Mac Forums:: 2) Still no playlists for movies. It takes *ages* to scroll through my We pay a premium for Apple products over here, but get nowhere near the http://forums.macrumors.com/archive/index.php/t-432902-p-2.htmlHOME | I apologize if this is addressed somewhere, but I have been through the online manual and the forum and can't find any solution to this issue:
INstalled XBMC windows (also tried Ubuntu distro... same issue) , add music source, queued up hundreds of mp3 in now playing list, play back is fine, I can add music to the queue, then.... I'm a Windows usin' Linux retard. - Customize.org:: I would say its pretty popular, but nowhere near ubuntu. . well writing on ntfs-partitions is no more a problem since one year or longer! http://customize.org/groups/topic/12689HOME | Jumperless ยป Another blog by an IT geek:: An additional 200 MB partition was created for installation my Vista laptop and installing drivers was no-where near the nightmare it was for Vista. http://jumperless.com/HOME |
Saved playlist.
Shut down XBMC and re-launched it. No playlist loads automatically... that's fine I expected that.
But the playlist I created is NOWHERE!!! There's no menu option to load a playlist. Searched all three partitions on my Windows PC and found no playlist or file by the name that I saved as.
If this is in the docs, please point me to the directions. KDE v2 Beta testing [Archive] - Internet Tablet Talk Forums:: 64 posts - Last post: Oct 26, 2007I did manage to crash JuK (I have hundreds of mp3s here I added to a playlist) - it was an elegant crash no sys restarts. http://www.internettablettalk.com/forums/archive/index.php?t-10606.htmlHOME |
Otherwise what the hell is going on? I must be missing something.
Add "Music Playlists" as a source to your music. It's there by default in your music library view.
Thanks, I finally found that you have to add the "Playlists" as a source when setting up XBMC for the first time.
This is truely NOT intuitive and needs at least a mention in the playlist section of the online manual.
So far XBMC has prove to be THE ABSOLUTE BEST Media Center I have found for windows. I refuse to pay money for a media center, when there a such motivated communities out there making apps for Windows and Linux. XBMC has by far the best community I have come across and THE most well organized repositories and forums.
The king is dead! LONG LIVE THE KING!
Anyway, I'm having fun. :>
Library view is what we suggest most people use, which does have this present by default.
The plan is to ditch files view (move it as a node under the library view) so that users don't have to go through this hassle.
