After you have become more INTERESTED in doing things with him for a couple of weeks, remind him of things that he wanted to do at YOUR AGE! I guarantee, He will see the light! Not only in his UNDERSTANDING of your needs but also You/ as the Light in his eyes!

Sounds like your dad has issues with trusting you. Have you done something to make him not have much trust?
You stated he thinks you are a drug user, you said you aren't. If you want to proove that to your father, let him know that there are drug test at walgreens that he can purchase that he can test you himself and found out if you are doing any drugs.
