why you get him sectioned. if you got power of attorney to his finanacail affairs it shouldnt be a problem gaining the number . but why sell off his stuff he aint dead yet and still needs to pay for his living.

If you have legal control of his estate then go and get a locksmith. Just make sure you give him a copy so if someone objects he can cover his butt too.
