Sorry if this is an FAQ. Is there an ISO i can download which will automatically install Linux and XBMC with minimal interaction from me? This would be a bootable disk installing to an empty PC.
A single linux-xbmc installer ISO on the way is really good news! Bug #14135 in grub-installer (Ubuntu): Grub Install Failure:: the job of putting everything back in, and thankfully, the I used the Manual Configure to instruct the installer to reformat one partition to ext3 http://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub-installer/+bug/14135HOME |
Recently tried the liveXBMC USB and its a great experience, but haven't worked out how to do the same as an installer straight to a fresh hard drive. Yagga - MiniInstaller:: installer.mf (manifest file for self-installing jar - Dont modify) one or more subdirectories under the base dir in order to keep everything in order. http://www.yagga.net/java/miniinstaller/index.shtmlHOME |
xbmc.org LiveUSB (formerly "LiveXBMC") V2 (http://xbmc.org/forum/showthread.php?t=32853) Motorola l6 connect to pc usng usb (no mobile phone tools cd) - FixYa:: Look online for mobile phone tools software. HOWEVER Ive tried this one, and still Im almost tried everything,i badly need a software/installer coz my pc http://www.fixya.com/support/t374667-motorola_l6_connect_pc_usng_usb_noHOME |

The first Beta versions of it should hopefully within a couple of weeks from now.
Not yet (at least not an up to date one), but we hope there will be a livecd available sometime soon.
Cheers,
Jonathan
