Yesterday i installed outpost and since then my dial-up (isdn) connection slows down to 0,98 kb/sec maybe its a coincidence (maybe its because of my isp) or maybe its just a normal problem that needs a setting in the config...

edit: when i boot my pc and use my internet connection (with OP on - block all except (i have the german version dont know the right english expression)) and start to download with getright i get 7kb... after awhile it slows down to 0,98 kb

Hi Elderon and welcome. What is your OS and What version of Outpost free or Pro?
You should have started in rules wizard mode to get your rules setup properly and usually it is best to stay in rules wizard mode for a few days to make sure you have all the rules you need. I'm wondering if you have proper access to your ISPs DNS servers. If you have anything in the always block applications, what is it? Did you allow services.exe out to DNS? If you have XP, what did you do with SVCHOST.exe?
Did you choose default presets for your applications?
