| I'm making a site that you can sell you psp games n stuff... but I have a paypal account? ... how can I make it so when they post their item that they have to pay a fee?
You'll need to use PayPal's IPN (instant payment notification). This lets your page 'talk' back and forth with PayPal after a payment is made so you can determine the final status of the actual payment... pending, declined, etc.
Use the IPN to only allow them to post after successful payment has been recived. Tag Page for: PayPal:: Welcome to the PayPal tag page at Technorati. Why wouldn't you have to pay PayPal fees? As long as you have a Premier or Business account you'll have fees.
What you should be asking is why would people use your site to sell their stuff when they could just put it on ebay or somewhere similar and have millions of people be able to see it? Just a thought though mate.
If you are serious about making this site then i would recomend learning asp or php and building you site this way, more secure and you wont have to pay fees to paypal.
What he means is you can bypass paypal, and have people pay you directly by getting credit card approved I think.. I could be wrong.
