My line says 8M also, my server has 2 PIII 933's and 512 MB of RAM. Should I increase the memory limit as well? and if so how much. Also what does this really do if you were to change it to 16?
Don't mind me... (just replying so I get an e-mail when someone responds to the above question.)
I would recommend anyone with less then 256MB of RAM leave this as the default, 8M value.... anyone with more then this can safely increase this to 16MB. This will just allow PHP scripts to use more memory if they need it.
