I'm planning to install the 3.7 B5 on my forum i know its not recommended since its a beta, but i would like to start using it from now, until there is a stable version, by then, i'll apply all the fixes/updates.
This is because, i think it will take time before getting the stable version of it, and the features it provides can't be resisted.
anyways,
the forum i have, i didnt install it, i bought the forum, so it was installed by someone else.

1. the mods that i have installed on the forum, will it be working on the new version?
2. The styles i have installed, will it be upgraded also?
That is the only documentation available. Not sure what 'mod part' you are referring to though.
Where can i find a well written upgrade guide.
i went through the official upgrade guide, however, it looks too simple, without detail information or things that we should be aware of
for example, the mod part is not mentioned in the upgrade guide
Did you see this article on upgrading hacked boards? http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=38545 It is very hard for anyone to give a good answer on whether hacks/mods will work on your upgraded board because some mods will and some won't. Different mods are effected by different parts of the code and if that code was changed in the upgrade, then that mod may not work now.
When i upgrade, all styles will be there after the upgrade?
Yes, however they may need updates done to them by the author or yourself to be compatable with 3.7.
1. You have to contact the authors of those add-ons about this.
2. You will probably need to revert all custom templates then redo your changes.
