Hey people,
I have recently started doing photographs for parties and i need advice on selling the photos to the customers, i first take pictures when they first walk in i get them all Que up to have there photograph taken with in front of a white HiLite background for a nice clean photograph then while they are partying and getting drunk with nice happy/funny photos.

is there a good way of letting the people preview the photo's then buy them after the party, i have tried using my website to no success so far, i think that is mainly because its freewebs and it was hard to sell photos, also i cant sell them while at the party because iam the main Dj aswell which dosent give me enough time to quick edit/print the photos there.
any other ideas will be great

You'll have to expect that not everyone will want to buy, and plan your costs accordingly. Personally it would p*ss me off to be photgraphed - in the same way it does when boarding ships and attending business functions.

Happily weddings I attend these days are for people going round for the second time who tend not to feel the need to subject themselves and their guests to the intusive photographer. Putting up the pics, especially on the Internet seems a complete invasion of privacy, adding insult to the injury.
However as I am never likely to attend one of you parties, I can wish you success with your enterprise.
if you go here you can get 250 business cards printed for just the price of the postage they have various designs and you can see the finished version before you buy them they will try and get you to buy other things of theirs but the best way is just to keep clicking no then you could hand you card out at the party so people know how to contact you. you could also design a flier to go with your card stating your cost etc this is no scam i am nothing to do with this company but have used them myself
