My xbox can access my xp computer fine but not my vista pc. It shows the name of my pc but when I click it to see the folders it freezes for a bit but then it lets me navigate again, never going into my pc. I can see everything from my xp pc. Am I missing something? In my network and shring I have everything on except for password protected sharing.
xbmc will not see vista smb shares without major changes to vista security.. go to the XBMC Wiki and do a search for VISTA, there are two ways to work around this.. xbmc need NO major changes. i'm running stock vista just fine. it however doesn't support anonymous access. just add an account for the xbox, and you are good to go.
