It would be fitting to merge the two groups together. I've noticed quite a bit of crossover from both.
I think so, you technically cant know which religion is right or wrong, or if any are right at all. So yes I think it would be fitting, and more convenient.
The difference between myths and religion is that people know a myth is just a story.
No actually there should be a new section called questions repeated over ten thousand times......And this one falls right into that category.

No. I would like to see r&s split into serious questions and flame games.
Quite the contrary, this section should be split into Religion and the other into Spirituality.
But if Y!A did that, we would also have to accomodate and break things down even further...into Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, etc etc sections.
I think the intent of Y!A is to bring people together from many faiths and spiritual perspectives so there is broader interaction and livelier discussions. A sort of cross-cultural clash, if you know what I mean. This creates livelier discussions, certainly, bigger disputes and arguments...which I think is good. It allows people to be exposed to ideas they would otherwise not be exposed to.
Mythology and folklore belong to the relm of fiction. But belief in God or some form of spiritual belief is not a fiction to those who believe in it and this is what divides the two subjects. Only those who do not believe in God or some spiritual form, would think that the two subjects should be merged into one.
Yep. After all, religious questions are asked here.
