I think people are being a little harsh here. They are just a fad like lots of other pop bands before them. My daughter is five and she loves them (and she is not ignorant, she is very bright). It's not as if they have zero music ability. I think some of the people answering this question (especially the females) should think about who was popular when they were a pre-teen... i'm pretty sure people said the same about that particular band. Just my opinion though
