Outpost has been good to me. But there's one problem i can't resolve. There is a page/site which is blocked by outpost. Even by changing the policy i can't enter the site. But if i exit and shut down outpost it becomes possible for me to enter the site again. I already inserted exclusion in the active content and ads plugins.
The site is http://www.montepiogeral.pt which redirects you to http://www.montepiogeral.pt/ePortal/v10/PT/jsp/index.jsp Web site blocking software for safe web surfing - ChildWebGuardian:: ChildWebGuardian is the web site blocking software designed to provide a safe surfing for child. principle of our web site blocking software work has a http://www.childwebguardian.com/web-site-blocking.htmlHOME |
Help me please
Hello Faller,
I guess you are using outpost 2.1. The issue you describe has been fixed in OP 2.5.
From my bug report last March:
Try disabling external content and enabling javascript. Wikipedia blocked in China yet again:: Wikipedias English site is blocked again in China, after over two months of being accessible, continuing a saga of on-again, off-again availability. http://pcworld.about.com/od/sites/Wikipedia-blocked-in-China-yet.htmHOME |
External content disabled drawback: other items on the site may not display; clicking EXT will solve that. Please, let me know if the site loaded with these settings.
I suggest you upgrade to OP 2.5!
Could you check your log and provide us more details on what is blocked.
Cheers
it is only one site... both pages are from the same site.
i can't get into the second and i have java script. the only explanation is that i must have made a bad configuration and blocked something i shouldn't have.
anyone knows how can i find what is wrong?
I could get both sites. However the first one require Java Script.
