I've been trying to make heads or tails of the procedures of sizing gas pipes. I've looked at a code check book, but it lacks detail. I do understand the concept. Basically, you want to install the proper size pipe to deliver enough gas to each fixture's BTU demands. From what I can figure out, you make a list of the btu demands from the farthest fixture and work back to the service (meter) making note of the distance (feet).
