I've a problem with the horizontal slider ( see Example 2 at
http://www.jaredgisin.com/software/Ext.ux.SlideZone/ext2/examples_h.html ).
I setup a demo where the slider component is used in a 'standard' HTML page - everything works fine.
However, I need to integrate the slider into a page where the html is generated by javascript. The problem we face is that the thumbs of the slider do not work properly. #2679 (slider performance problem) – jQuery UI Development – Trac:: slider performance problem. Reported by: therve. The sequence of operations to bring up the page is roughly as follows:
First, a div to contain the slider is created.
Then the slider component is created ( i.e. new Ext.ux.SlideZone(...))
Now: Insertion of two thumbs. So the X, Y constraints are set.
Then, other parts (html) of the page where the slider is embedded is created
Due to last point, the browser activate the right side scroll bar => the sliderZone is moved to the left
(specifically its X coordinates change as effect of scrollbar activation)
What I observe is that the X and Y constraints remain unchanged - the slider zone is placed correctly in the page,
but when I drag the thumbs, they seem to use the old coordinates.
Has somebody meet the same problem and can help me?
Thanks.
Mele.
