This tag (http://www.xboxmediacenter.com/wiki/index.php?title=Playlists#Format_of_a_Smart_Playli st_File) seems to be overridden by Shuffle in the GUI.
Is it by design?
(I personally think it's inconvenient to always have to go to Now Playing... Shuffle to randomize my playlists)
That shouldn't be - it should default to the playlist sort order.
I'll look into it at some stage, but it may pay to add an entry in the bug tracker (assigned to me) so I remember.
Cheers,
Jonathan
Yes, but if Shuffle is off, and playlist has random it will be played alphabetically.
Tested with post SVN:9030
Shuffle is a global setting. You can alter it in the now playing window, and you can also alter it on the "mini OSD" at any time.
I want it added to the music OSD as well, but haven't pressed hard enough for it.
So yes, if is specified and then you shuffle, it'll play it out of order.
Cheers,
Jonathan
