Maybe there is a ray of hope for this season.
Hope so, would be good to see what sort of damage he and kamara can do from the wings.
A quote from one of the stories on Zoltan...
"The Baggies’ star player has been receiving treatment on a troublesome pelvic problem back in Hungary, and manager Bryan Robson is confident the midfielder is well on the road to recovery."
Zoltan better lay off the Elvis routine at the karaoke bars back in Pecs this summer!
It would be outstanding news if he came back.
And...just checking the remaining matches, it appears conceivable that we get 7 more points and we stay up. The cats, (8pts), are toast, the Blues, (20), could get possible points with Sunderland, us, Rovers, and the Toon at home, plus, a trip to Boro. With 18pts, Pompey's got ManCity, Boro, Makems, and Rovers at home, with Fulham and Addicks away. Baggies with 26 - we could get points from Fulham at CC this weekend, then hosting Boro. After Chelsea, we will be at Blues, maybe a few weeks later we can steal points at Villa, we'll host Bolton, and West Ham, with a trip to Tyneside in between. Hell, two wins and a draw...that's all it takes! :D
Last I heard, (this past week), another specialist was coming in to have a look. Still hoping to avoid another operation.
Not quite sure exactly what happened on the setback. 2nd half substitute v Reading on the 7th of January, (converts the PK!). He felt fine after the match. Then on the 9th we hear about a setback.
Then again, I'm no specialist about double hernias.
(Although I can tell you about acute appendicitis...which happened 2 weeks ago!)
Yea I had appendicitis last year and I have to say that sucks. Of course I am a few Ounches lighter after the operation
Yea, he's going back to Hungary.
FYI, here's the story.

Apparently, this doctor has dealt with this problem with Zoltan before. He's coming back to the Hawthorns later this week to be assessed again.
Maybe there is a ray of hope for this season.
Note to Zoltan...change doctors!!
Not really sure, just been a strange turn of events. It started off with a broken hand he recieved on the last day of last season (the great escape) and he needed a routine operation on it. To be fair, a hand op should have time to be healed during the summer in time for the new season. It wasnt and he needed another 2 ops before they found out it was infected:rolleyes: . Since then he has had groin trouble and needed an op on that and now a hernia problem has occurred.
He has made a couple of late sub appearences (Reading and Man U) which seemed to have affected him more coz he hasnt made any more appearences since then.
The management have previously said they were hoping he would be fit for this game or that game, and by the time the game turns up he is either not fit or is still injured.
He's now back in Hungary seeing a specialist.
It really is quite strange and to be honest I doubt he'll play any more part this season.:(
