Sole Provide for the Family for the 1st time.?
I have to be the sole provider now....it's overwhelming for me. I feel like I'm being greedy sometimes, or very micro managing because someone else is spending my money. We had it where I'd give 1/2 & he'd give 1/2 now it's 100% from me. Now I don't want to be this wife who is constantly nagging about money, I trust him, but I don't like him just spending and spending you know what I mean? I tried the whole budgeting thing, but that didn't work either, so I got a diff acct, where I send him X amount for my son & him. I told him if you need more ask, and if I see it fit I'll give it. But I told him my some is priority not his toys....XBOX games, Gambling, etc... But at the same token I want him to keep himself happy, but money can't buy happiness of course, cause it seems like when he don't get enough $ he wants to fight and aruge....at the same token I'm trying to save for our reunion home, and I have to still take care of the rent etc...so how do I go from miss independant to being holy smokes I have to pay for everything...I dont' know how most guys who are full time workers while their wives stay at home and manage the house and kids. It's a hard transistion...I want to be more supportive and more at ease with the idea but need some words of encouragement or something to get my head out my ****....I'm very stubborn I know....
