After I render an XTemplate, is it possible to interact with the content rendered by using getElementById?
I keep returning null with the following code when trying to get the id 'view':
/*******************/
// Setup XTemplate
/*******************/
var tpl = new Ext.XTemplate(
'',
'',
' -

- Yes you can, but you would have to but the call in the afterlayout listener of the component the XTemplate is rendered in.
- However, I would recommend you not use getElementById, as Ext has it's own selectors, which are better recommended. Ext.get('view'), would achieve just the same.
- Thanks this worked.
Yeah, getElementById.. bad habbits ;) Ext.get or getdom in future.
