I was wondering if there is a way to set the FormPanel or Form to send its submit request via ScriptTagProxy or XMLHttpRequest. I have a need to for this on google maplet because all the code is being called remotely.

if you are submitting via a script-tag you can only use GET to submit the values - which is fairly limited.
better would be a hidden iframe - like it is used for the file-uploads.

you can enable this by setting fileUpload-config-option to true for the BasicForm.

It wouldn't work out of the box. It could be done fairly easily though by calling form.getValues() and passing them as the params of you call to load.

FYI: The server must return valid javascript wrapped in a callback.

I just used the "form.getValues() " and then used sent it another way.

I found this link but it seems that have a way for the form to use the scriptagproxy would be useful.
